The short version
CareerStack does not have a backend server or database. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal information, resume data, job descriptions, or API keys on our end. Everything the extension uses stays on your device, in your browser's local storage.
CareerStack AI ("we", "our", "the extension") is a browser extension that runs entirely within your browser. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices — or more accurately, our lack of them — with respect to your use of the extension.
By installing and using CareerStack, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
We collect nothing from you
CareerStack does not collect, receive, or have access to any of the following:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- Your resume or CV content
- Job descriptions or listings you view
- Your OpenAI or Google Gemini API keys
- Your Notion integration tokens or database IDs
- Your browsing history or activity on job boards
- AI match scores or analysis results
- Any data you save to your Notion database
The extension does not communicate with any CareerStack-owned server. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry, and no tracking of any kind built into the extension.
